This document explains how you rent a number to receive OTP, when you get charged, when you can get a refund, and the rules for using Otpvn.com.
1. How to Rent a Number
Pick a service → get a number → request OTP → receive the code. The whole process takes up to 20 minutes.
To rent a number for SMS/OTP on Otpvn.com, follow these 6 steps:
- Choose a service: In the left menu, select the app or social network you want to verify, then click "Buy".
- Use the number: Use the phone number assigned by the system to register/verify on the third-party service. Then click the green "Ready" button.
- Receive OTP: Wait for the SMS. The verification code appears on your screen next to the corresponding phone number.
- Receive more SMS: Need multiple messages from the same service? Click "Repeat" before the transaction ends.
- Finish early: Got your code? Click "Complete" to close the transaction. Otherwise, it auto-completes after 15 minutes.
- Timeout: Maximum wait time for SMS is 20 minutes. After that, the system automatically releases the number.
2. Cost & Balance Deduction
Prices are shown upfront. You only get charged when you actually receive an OTP.
Service prices are publicly listed in the left menu on every page.
When do you get charged? Your balance is only deducted when the transaction completes successfully — meaning the system received an SMS with an OTP code. No SMS received = no charge.
3. Cancellation & Abuse Policy
No OTP received → cancel for free anytime. Abusing cancellations may get your account restricted.
If a number has been assigned but you haven't received any SMS, you can cancel anytime — no charges, no penalties.
4. Notifications & Marketing
By creating an account, you agree to receive service updates and promotional content from Otpvn.com. You can unsubscribe anytime via account settings or the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email.
5. Transaction History
Your number rental and SMS history is stored in your account, accessible via the "History" menu. This data is kept indefinitely and cannot be manually deleted — to ensure financial transparency and system security.
6. Lawful Use Only
Use our service for legal purposes only. No paid subscription sign-ups.
6.1. Using Otpvn.com for any illegal, fraudulent, or rights-infringing purpose is strictly prohibited.
6.2. You may not use our numbers to sign up for auto-renewing paid subscriptions or telecom-billed services.
7. Your Responsibility for Created Accounts
Accounts you create with rented numbers get banned by a third party → that's your risk. No e-wallets or banking allowed.
We are not responsible for accounts (social media, apps, websites) you create using rented numbers. If they get locked or restricted by third parties, that risk is entirely yours.
It is strictly prohibited to use our numbers to activate e-wallets (Qiwi, Webmoney) or any banking, securities, or financial service accounts.
8. Refund Eligibility & Method
Email [email protected] from your registered email. Refunds go back to the same card/account you used to deposit.
8.1. How to request: Send your refund request to [email protected] from the same email you used to register.
8.2. Refund method: Refunds are processed to the exact same bank card/account and same currency you originally used to deposit funds.
8.3. Gift code credit: A gift code from OTPVN works once, only for the account it was given to and before it expires. The credit it adds to your balance is for using the service and cannot be refunded, exchanged for cash or moved to another account.
9. Forwarding Number Warranty
Long-term call/SMS forwarding numbers (if available) come with a 2-week technical warranty from the delivery date. If the number stops working due to system errors or causes beyond your control during this period, you will receive a refund.
10. API Disclaimer
We are not responsible for connection errors, programming mistakes, or software bugs caused by you (or your developer) when integrating our API. Losses due to your own code errors → no refund.
11. No SMS from Financial Systems
The system does not support receiving SMS from banks, e-wallets, payment gateways, or any financial services. Messages from these sources are technically blocked. Deliberate attempts → no refund.
12. Payment Security & PCI DSS
Your card data is processed by a PCI DSS-certified partner. We never store your card details.
When paying by bank card, the entire process (entering card number, security code) takes place on the secure page of an internationally certified payment partner.
Your card information never passes through Otpvn.com servers. The process meets PCI DSS standards, uses SSL encryption, and integrates Verified by Visa and Mastercard Identity Check.
13. No System Attacks
Any attempt to scan for vulnerabilities, exploit software bugs, or attack Otpvn.com's security systems is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in permanent account ban, balance seizure, and depending on severity, referral to law enforcement for criminal prosecution.
14. Restricted Territories
The system does not provide services or support virtual number transactions for countries and territories under international sanctions: Iran, Sudan, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, and the Crimea region.
