These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to, account registration for, and use of the website Otpvn.com, its subdomains, applications, application programming interfaces (API), and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). Due to the nature of the services provided to users in multiple countries, these Terms are not bound to a single fixed legal entity, head office, or jurisdiction; the terms "Platform", "we", "us", "our", and "Operator" refer to the website operations team as a whole.
By checking the acceptance box, registering an Account, depositing funds, renting numbers, using the API, or continuing to use the Services after the Effective Date, the User acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, and other policies linked on the Platform. If you do not agree, you must not register or continue using the Services.
1. Definitions
Key terms explained: Platform, Service, Number Rental, Balance, Account, and more.
1.1. Platform
“Platform” means the website Otpvn.com, subdomains, applications, API, management systems, and related software infrastructure managed by the Operator.
1.2. Operator
“Operator”, “we”, “us”, or “Platform” means the team, organization, or individual operating the website Otpvn.com and responsible for providing Services to Users, unless otherwise explicitly stated at the time of transaction.
1.3. Number Provision Partners
“Number Provision Partners” means the organizations or individuals providing phone numbers, SIMs, technical access, or message reception infrastructure to the Platform under contract. The use of this term does not automatically classify the Partner as a "telecom service agent" under applicable law.
1.4. Service
“Service” means the function allowing Users to temporarily secure the right to use a phone number within the scope, duration, and purposes approved by the Platform to receive one or more SMS/OTP verification messages from legitimate online services. The Service does not transfer phone number ownership, does not guarantee long-term availability of the number, and is not a service for account hosting or recovery.
1.5. Number Rental Transaction
“Number Rental Transaction” means a request confirmed by the Platform specifying at least the country or region of the number, the third-party service to be verified, the fee, the validity period, and the message reception status.
1.6. Account
“Account” means the account registered by the User to access and use the Services.
1.7. Balance
“Balance” means the prepaid funds recorded on the Account to pay for the Services. Balance is not a deposit, payment account, e-wallet, security, investment instrument, or an interest-bearing fund.
1.8. Third Party
“Third Party” includes telecom networks, Number Provision Partners, banks, payment processors, infrastructure providers, websites, apps, or services from which the User requests OTP messages.
1.9. Violation
“Violation” means any conduct that breaches these Terms, related policies, rights of other entities/individuals, third-party service terms, or applicable law.
2. Scope & Nature of Services
You rent temporary numbers to receive OTP. You don't own the number, and third parties may reject it.
2.1. Scope of provision: The Platform provides a technology interface for Users to select services, order numbers, receive messages, and manage transactions. Phone numbers may be sourced from one or more Number Provision Partners.
2.2. Platform Responsibilities: The Platform takes reasonable measures to:
- Select, verify, and manage Number Provision Partners;
- Request Partners to prove number origins, management rights, or supply rights;
- Monitor service quality, address unavailable numbers, and handle reports of illegal number activities;
- Apply technical checks to mitigate fraud and abuse;
- Receive, process complaints, and issue refunds in accordance with published policies.
Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to exclude mandatory liabilities of the Platform under applicable law.
2.3. No ownership transfer: Users are only granted the right to use the number during the active Number Rental Transaction. After the transaction ends, the number may cease operations, be recalled, recycled, or reallocated to other users. Users must not rely on rented numbers to maintain, recover, or protect critical accounts long-term.
2.4. No guarantee of third-party acceptance: Third-party websites or apps may reject temporary, shared, or specific region numbers. The Platform does not guarantee that third parties will accept the number, successfully create/maintain accounts, or refrain from restricting the User's accounts. This does not affect the User's refund rights if the failure falls under Section 11.
2.5. Supported services: Users may only use numbers for services, countries, and purposes displayed or explicitly approved on the Platform.
3. Conditions of Use
Must be 18+. Can use anonymously (email only). Keep your account and password secure.
3.1. Age and capacity: Users must be at least 18 years old and possess full civil capacity. If representing an organization, you warrant that you have authority to bind the organization to these Terms.
3.2. Served areas: The Platform may restrict Services in high-risk, sanctioned, embargoed, or legally restricted countries or territories.
3.3. Registration details: Users must provide accurate, up-to-date, and legally authorized registration information. Users must not:
- Use another person's email, identity, documents, or payment methods without permission;
- Impersonate individuals, organizations, or government bodies;
- Provide false details to bypass verification, limits, or risk controls;
- Create multiple Accounts to evade thresholds or sanctions.
3.4. Anonymity and non-identified risk control: Users are permitted to register and use the Services anonymously using a valid email address. Physical identification documents are not mandatory for standard usage.
To prevent fraud and abuse without collecting identity documents, the Platform may employ technical checks: transaction limits per Account/IP/device, email ownership verification, or payment method checks. If required by law or competent authorities for a specific transaction, the Platform reserves the right to suspend that transaction until identity verification is completed, or refuse the Service for such transaction.
3.5. Account Security: Users are responsible for setting strong passwords, securing credentials, not sharing API keys, notifying the Platform of unauthorized access, and revoking unused API keys.
4. Number Rental & OTP
Check service, price, and conditions before confirming. Numbers are SMS/OTP only — no emergency calls.
4.1. Pre-transaction details: Prior to transaction confirmation, the Platform displays essential details: country/region, third-party service, transaction fee, waiting time, refund terms, and message limits.
4.2. Selection responsibility: Users must verify correct service, country, price, and terms before confirming. Rented numbers must not be used for services other than the selected option.
4.3. Transaction duration: Transactions are only active within the shown waiting window. After expiry, the Platform may stop receiving or displaying new messages.
4.4. Content limits: Services only support legitimate verification SMS/OTP. Rented numbers must not be used to receive sensitive financial/health details, personal communication, or to intercept others' messages.
4.5. Misdirected messages: Users must not read, copy, or exploit messages not intended for them. In case of misdirected messages, stop access and notify the Platform.
5. Permitted Use
Legal purposes only. You must have the right to create the account being verified. Don't harm others.
Users may only use the Service if the following conditions are simultaneously met:
- The purpose of use is lawful;
- The User has a legitimate right to create/manage the target account;
- Using temporary numbers does not violate the third-party service terms;
